Embark on a half-day guided visit to the magnificent Royal Palace, majestically overlooking the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers. Built in 1866 by King Norodom, this grand complex remains the official residence of Cambodia’s reigning monarch. Within the palace grounds, explore the Coronation Hall, the open-air Royal Theatre used by the Royal Dance Troupe, and the King's private residence. While parts of the palace are closed when the King is in residence, the grounds are generally open to the public. A highlight of the tour is the Silver Pagoda, renowned for its gleaming floor made up of 5,000 solid silver tiles, each weighing one kilogram.
