Hawaii carries ancient traditions in the art of handicrafts, with wood carvings being a trademark of the islands. Learn about the ancient art of carving from a local master Kawika Manu, and try your hand at carving your own Hawaiian Tiki - Polynesian Gods. Manu brings four generations of woodcarving experience and will share the stories of the various Hawaiian Gods the tikis represent. Take a unique woodcarving souvenir home with you. After the class, head over to Duke’s Waikiki lunch, where you’ll have an ocean-front reserved table and be treated to an island-inspired buffet lunch with tea, coffee, punch or a soft drink.
